A total of 446 Latino adolescents 14-19 years old completed the Identity Positive Youth Development Survey for Latino Youth for a study of physical dating violence victimization. Approximately 9% of Latino adolescents reported physical dating violence victimization. Among males, gun carrying, but not physical fighting, and having considered suicide were associated with dating violence victimization. Among females, fighting was the sole risk behavior associated with dating violence victimization.
