The author replies to a Science Editorial about research fraud in gun research that cast doubt on the authenticity of Lott’s work. The author notes that the editor did not mention that even an anti-gun researcher, Gary Kleck, reached the same research conclusions as John Lott: violent crime has decreased in states with more permissive gun carry permit laws.
