The authors reply to Berg’s critique of their 2001 article “Firearms Risk Management in Psychiatric Care”. They mention that their goal was to describe their program of firearms risk management and thus increase awareness that might help counter the denial that Berg noted. They support what Berg called “myths” of the gun control community with literature examples supporting their assertions.
